While serving and working as a Medical Assistant she went on to graduate from nursing school and became a registered nurse in 2012, graduated with her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2013.  In 2015 she earned a military commision as a medical officer and managed a nursing unit in a rescue wing for four years. During this time she gained experience in women’s health, pediatrics, and case management at various hospitals and clinics in the Bay Area while serving in the  CA ANG.  Longing for more she decided to further her education and graduated with her Master’s in nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023.

Rocio is not new to the entrepreneurial world; she and her husband own and manage a popular GastroPub in Stockton, CA.  Driven by a passion for empowering women and enhancing natural beauty, Rocio expanded her entrepreneurial world by opening a medical spa. The spa is distinctive in its focus on holistic and research-based treatments, utilizing techniques to promote healing and overall rejuvenation.  She is committed to lifelong learning and has trained with master injectors to learn advanced techniques. She aims to create a space where individuals can experience personalized care that aligns with their individual health and beauty goals.

Rocio is committed to making health and beauty accessible to everyone, her dedication to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment extends to her medical spa, where individuals from various backgrounds can feel comfortable and understood.  As a native Spanish speaker, her proficiency in Spanish enables her to communicate effectively with the Latinx community and create a sense of inclusivity. Her dedication to establishing a welcoming and inclusive environment created a safe space for those of various backgrounds to feel comfortable and understood. Rocio’s deep respect for diversity and her desire to bridge language barriers in healthcare, ensures that everyone receives the highest quality of personalized care.
